Autosaver Cars Ltd (“Autosaver”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have under the Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on our site, apply for finance, request a trade-in valuation, or contact us, we collect details such as your name, email, phone number, address, vehicle information, and any notes you choose to share. When you browse the site we also receive standard analytics data (page views, scroll depth, anonymised session ID, device type, country) which is used to understand how the site is used.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry, value a trade-in, submit finance and insurance applications on your behalf, and operate our business. We do not sell your personal information. We share it with finance lenders, insurance brokers, and our IT/CRM providers only to the extent needed to deliver the service you've asked us for.
How we store it
Your information is held in our customer records system and on the platforms we use to run the business. We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. We retain information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@autosavercars.co.nz with the request and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
